Schwarzkopf Osis Flexwax 50ml - Strong Hair Styling Wax for Men

This product is just what I need. Let me give some background on myself first, I used to wear some standard hair gel growing up, usually only on special occasions. Gel was the trend about 7-8 years back. Fast forward 8 years, I never applied any hair product to my hair. It is short and dry, and somewhat thick. Less than 1 inch short. My hair look plain and boring, until I discovered hair pomades. So I began using Axe messy pomade, which I had actually liked, but it was too glossy and dry looking, and I had to scoop out a good amount each time. I tried Old spice wax products, to be fair, I used to apply it with my hair wet, as I didn't know it was a hair wax at the time. So I tried Suave classic pomade, which I enjoyed, but again, ran out too quickly, it had a good shine and a natural smell, which some people disliked. I then tried Royal Crown, black and white, and Dax hair dressing. Black and white just was not for my hair, give me no hold nor any shine, nor matte black finish. Royal crown pomade had a good sheen to it, but no hold as well. Dax said a very strong hold, that weighed down my already short hair, and was difficult to wash out of my hair. I enjoyed that product the most and stuck to it, but got tired of it as I began doing research, realizing that pomade is not intended for people like me with hair below an inch, that is generally short and lifted up at the front.I then discovered hair wax, which was recommended hair product. First product I used, was American Crew Fiber. American Crew Fiber is a thick product, that does give decent hold, but it bunches strands of my hair together too much, making it look all mushed up together. And with someone with short hair, as soon as I brush, and my hair gets mushed up and tightened up together, it ruins my ability to style it. The positives are in the hold, and time span you can style your hair or reform it(if you have longer hair), if you need to. So I ordered this product, the Osis flex wax, as I read good things about for people with short hair.And let me tell you, don't look past this product. Right off the bat, the product smells better, and I use much less than the AC fiber, you barely need a pinch of it. It holds my hair well, texturizes it, and adds a matte black finish to my already dark black hair. It makes my hair look really dark, and gives it a neat yet messy look. Unlike American Crew Fiber, which is too much on the neat side, and gives me problems when trying to make my hair look a bit messy. The hold is also stronger. It does weigh my hair down a tiny bit if you apply a bit more than you need, but nothing near something like Dax hair dressing. This 1.7 oz can will last you a long time, if you have short hair like me. And if you're an Arab, that has the typical fade/taper haircut and spike your hair up(You know what I'm talking about, all of us do it), then this is for you, trust me. It is natural looking, gives a healthy and matte black look to your hair, while giving best hold without weighing hair down or feeling greasy or thick.I highly recommend this product for anyone getting into hair waxes, and I will definitely check out their other products, this is a high quality product. Certainly has more effective hold than anything else ive tried. BUT if you have spiky hair, it cannot be used to make hair FLAT. AKA, combover styles are OUT OF THE QUESTION. Its good for making volume, and messy shuffled hair. AKA, its holds UP but cant hold DOWN.Great product it's like Osis + Mess Up Matt Gum Hair Styling Waxes except this one is more creamier hence cream wax either way this stuff is great im bummed that it finished on me but it produced some of the best results for my hair.I have full thick set of hair and it's hard to manage so I used this and I was able to manage it. This and the mess up Matt Gum Hair are basically the same in my opinion but if you want more of a dry look get the gum but it will make your hair look like clayif you use to much and if you have black hair. This product more smoother on the hands and doesn't streaks as much either way for both you have to work them in.I was actually searching for a replacement from my stylist. He gave me a container that was round and red but i had been unable to find that exact product. I tried this since it's from the same company. It's not exactly the same. This has a different fragrance and lighter texture but it works just as good.Much of my beard is white so those hairs tend to want to go in all directions and i need something that will properly tame them. As well i have a dreadlock and pretty long hair and fly aways are always a problem. Even with the moister of living in Florida Flexwax keeps everything in control while still allowing my hair and beard to not look like it has any product.honestly I do not use American beauty products, because many have failed, this wex is the only means that works on my hair, and also after washing remains on the hair in a smaller donor, but it is, that is why I like it, I would recommend to anyone guy this product because worth it .. my hair really turns around, and I rhyme with a big problem and it is the only product that allows you to keep my hair as I do like.This is a decent hair wax but I think it probably will work best for short styles, hair under three inches. I've got a disconnected undercut with very short sides, however, my top is quite long and it required a lot of product to tame my hair. While this is ok, I prefer my hair to stay soft and this left my hair a bit sticky.Great styling product. My husband is no stranger to hair gels. He has tried everyone you could find or has ever been recommended to him, this being the latest. First of all I will say that it smells great. A lot of times his gels smell too fragrant or strong and this one is just right. Also it doesn't leave his hairy too shinny chunky looking, it stays styled and in place without looking like a mold. He claims it washes out easily too.Love this product. I have fine, straight hair and this product is one of the few that I can use to shape it without weighting my hair down or making it too greasy. Also, it smells great. Clean smell, which is great as a guy, because a lot of good hair product has a fruity fragrance.Personally, I work a little in my wet hair before I blow dry it, which helps add volume. Then, a little more to finish and shape it.I had a similar product previously, also by Schwarzkopf but am now unable to get it. I was delighted to find that Osis Flexwax is very similar and perfect for my hair, which is very thick and wiry. I do not find it greasy but it separates my hair nicely and gives a good finnishIf you want to style your hair the way you want it, and want the best dry finish, then this is brilliant for you.I have already bought 5 of these in my lifetime, and it has never failed to impress me. It is a liquid-type gel in its initial form, which makes it easy to apply, however i recommend that you ALWAYS put the lid on after use. It dries out without you noticing it, and it becomes more of a wax of sorts, but it still does the job very well.Best value hair product. Would recommend to all.It's not a bad hair wax, but they claim "ultra strong" control....and it's not. I would say "medium" control at best, nothing more than that to be honest. Smells pretty good and the product is overall a good quality one (like all osis products), even after a couple of hours it's still re mouldable like they say, but the fact it's not really ultra strong just failed me a little.Keeps my hair in place and looks textured without making it dry . Good product ! Although it took 10 days to arrive , didn't realise it came from abroad until after I ordered!nothing special really. Works as well as many others and does have a nice fragrance but no great difference to helping my fine hair keep in place and/or style so would not buy again.
