I am a little picky with coffee taste and these pads are the best I could find so far. It is not easy for me either being born and raised in Germany and live now in the U.S. for about 10 years. I really love the concept of Senseo - just 1 cup of coffee whenever you want it and you can put the pods in the compost! NO plastic or tin foil or whatever - just a tea bag kinda material around the grounds - perfect! And then I moved to the U.S. and boy, most peoples coffee taste is just not for me ;-) The mild and the classic don't have much taste, the very strong is too much for me, it will burn a whole in my stomach over time! Also I am not fond of the strong taste - I love coffee with flavor, that will not leave me with heartburn! I love Colombian, but can not find it as a pad for my senseo... So after drinking lots of no good coffee, I thought: Hey, the dutch should have what I am looking for! This is the best coffee I came across in the U.S.! Unless I'll find a source for Colombian I will continue to drink this one! Thumbs up!Great flavor, ultra fresh and good value for the money.Although not very popular the Senseo coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee and their Douwe Egberts coffee pods are inexpensive and delicious. You get a strong tasting cup coffee that is 2 -3 times as flavorful as a Keurig K-cup and it has a froth on top from being pressure brewed. If you know someone who has a Senseo try it. You may end up buying one.Great coffee, strong and smooth with a frothy krema. The sealed package containing the coffee pods was open. The flavor seal of air was popped. Likely squashed during shipping. Second time this has happened. We brew a full pot of coffee for the day, but when its gone, sometimes I want another single cup. Didn't want to buy a Keurig and have something we use only occasionally clutter up the kitchen counter, so I saw these single servings and was hoping that I could get a good cup without the Senseo brewer, but heating up a cup of water and letting the packet steep in it. I've tried multiple ways, including microwaving the cup with the packet in it to get as much flavor out of the coffee, but it always just seems a bit weak. The coffee packets smell really good -- and I'm certain they use a premium blend. But the brewed coffee without using their brewer is just so so. Not bad -- just not as flavorful as I had hoped. These are very good if you like a dark roast coffee to wake you up in the morning! On the other hand, though, it looks as though pod coffee makers have gone out of style. It's almost impossible to get a pod coffee maker (pressure on the pod) anymore. The one -cup makers now just let the hot water drain through the pod resulting in coffee that tastes like dishwater. (Or at least how I think dishwater must taste.) I bought a small, one-cup Bella coffee maker on Amazon...doesn't use pods but a tablespoon of ground coffee and makes a good, strong cuppa.Great coffee, great taste, have to go to Europe to get these anymore. It will be a VERY sad day when my Senseo machine goes to the dark side. Will miss it's quick good cup of coffee a whole fat bunch. Love my pod coffee and I refuse to use the EXTREMELY polluting plastic pods. We've used these for years still cheaper than more modern machines which tie you into their brand. Makes a nice frothy coffee with good flavour. Always but this colored packet some similar ones seem to be weaker in strength to this particular one.Been searching for filter coffee bags to fit Delongi coffee machine, descovered senseo coffee bags fit my machine, good flavour good price and fit my machineAlways great tasing and just the right strength for me. I alternate between these and the Gimoka Dark Roast coffee pads. Overall I prefer these original Senseo pads but the Gimoka are cheaper. I can’t resist a bargain and the quality is almost identical.Very weak flavour, and I used two bags. Not bad value for money and they were fresh.Quite strong. Handy for single cups of coffee.
